Citibank Attempts to Buy a New Jet With Our Money.
In yet another example of what has become legalized corruption Citibank has had another outbreak of mental corporate syphilis. Citibank was planning on buying a brand new $50 million 12 passenger French built luxury jet. Sounds nice eh? At first when people started calling them out on it they were giving excuses that they had planned to buy this jet back in 2005 and that if they didn’t follow through with the purchase there would be millions of dollars in penalty fees. Which basically was there way of telling people to just sit down and shut up.
Thankfully this news broke out and went viral last week. Just before the pitchfork and torch bearing posse was formed to round up the guilty Obama’s office actually called them and apparently said something like “you really need to cancel that order”. I think the quote was “fix it”. I was thrilled to read that Obama got into the mix shortly after being initially outraged and disgusted over the brash and despicable nature of them actually thinking it would be OK to take a portion of that money and buy a brand new jet.
